Old oil rig as diving heaven

Seaventures Platform is a unique way to dive Sipadan and Mabu in Malaysia, and it is becoming popular among young divers with a limited budget. There are 23 rooms in total on and there is room for entertaining, dining, sunbathing etc. The standard rooms on Seaventures are nothing fancy, but all have air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and most of them have a great seaview. Seaventures are mainly for inexperienced divers, and there is guides and training available.

A converted oil rig sits just off the northern shore from Mabul Island. It is a very spacious dive station, and the place is supplied with relevant gear from its oil and gas period, such as elevators, yet not with a lot of fancy ICT. On Seaventures Platform old industrial history meets the modern requirement of young travellers.
