Seminar at the University of Southern Denmark, Kolding on March 18th
The centre for Tourism, Innovation and Culture at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) will hold a seminar on Innovative Tourism Teaching at SDUs campus in Kolding, Denamrk on the 18th of March 2010. The seminar will be held in co-operation with SDU?s e-learnings department. The aim of the seminar is to find conrete examples of how the involvment of web 2.0 (e.g. wikis, blogs, new social media) in teaching can stimulate the students and improve their learning experience. We will talk about the possibilities and information available to those who would like to face the challenge of using web 2.0 in their teaching.

13.00-15.30 | Innovative tourism teaching in focus: Short presentations from participants ? What we do and why. Future plans for the involvement of e-learning in tourism teaching. Discussion on the possibilities and challenges caused by reusing, developing and optimising tourism teaching through new learning methods. |
